Inspired by the vegans that successfully argued that veganism is a religion, the Action Against Antis Facebook group has revived the Free Church of Countrysports.
First set up by a group of countrysports supporters in 2003, including the late shooting instructor Rod Brammer and John Milne, the aim this time is to reach 8,000 supporters in the forthcoming 2021 census to make countrysports a recognised church, will will bring with it certain protections in law.
