This is no ordinary field trial. We’re at Prestwold Hall near Loughborough in Leicestershire, for the inaugural UK St Hubertus Cup – a competition for Hunt Point Retrieve dogs and their owners. It’s as much about the hunter as the dog. We follow Fieldsports Nation member Malin Hewins and her young German wirehaired pointer as they compete in difficult scenting conditions.
